EMERALD ROCK FOUNDATION, INCORPORATED is a not-for-profit organization that endeavors to provide a healthy approach to unification of the socially disadvantaged families in the natural way of living through sustainability of income, education, agriculture and trade development to create an independent, sustainable unit which will subsequently lead to community growth and sustainability; alleviating further burden on society.
Our Vision
The Emerald Rock Foundation, Inc. envisions a community where individuals and families are equipped with the tools, services and information they need to develop and form the unifying bonds that ultimately lead to healthy self-sustaining families and individuals within their communities.
The pillars that build and sustain healthy communities are exactly what many urban communities lack.
In healthy communities, nutritional values are fundamental and based on fresh foods and eating habits, knowledge of how to manage finances is basic from youth to adulthood as these are among the stabilizing building blocks for family and community success. Within these communities you will also find a very strong educational system. On the contrary disadvantaged communities may lack the fresh food resources and/or the knowledge of the importance of nutrition for everyone in the family and by extension, the community. Many may be unaware of the ways to successfully manage family income or how to support their youth when and if they fall behind in school. More importantly, most of the businesses in disadvantaged communities are not owned or operated by members of the community, therefore, resources are not used to reinvest or enhance the community.
Believing that individuals – male, female youth and adults – and families within disadvantaged communities deserve the opportunity to develop themselves in self-sustaining communities, the Emerald Rock Foundation provides guidance relative to emotional and physical health. We teach nutritional values through agriculture, by teaching men, young boys, and women, young girls how to grow their own foods and prepare healthy meals. Emerald Rock facilitates an after school tutorial program for youth, and job readiness and business development programs for adults. Additionally, we provide financial literacy workshops beginning with teenage youth and provide workshops geared towards instilling adults with the skills they need to successfully manage their finances.
When individuals within disadvantaged communities are equipped with the tools they need to thrive, unifying bonds develop and the community grows to become self-sustaining. The ultimate goal is to assist in developing strong family units that can sustain healthy communities.

As the founder of Emerald Rock Foundation Inc, Ms. Ahmad is committed to empowering disadvantaged youth by leveraging programmatic initiatives. Our mission is to provide these young individuals with the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive and succeed. Through our work, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and inequality, creating a brighter future for all. Ms. Ahmad maintains over a decade of experience actively engaged, serving the community.

As COO of the Emerald Rock Foundation Inc, Ms. Staples is responsible for managing the day to day operations that enable us to fulfill our mission of serving disadvantaged youth. Ms. Staples works closely with our team to ensure the efficient delivery of our programs and services, manage our resources effectively, and cultivate partnerships that enhance our impact. My goal is to ensure that our organization operates smoothly and effectively, maximizing our ability to support and empower the youth we serve.
